October 25, 2000 and a blaze roars through an apartment complex. Windows burst outward with the heat. Firemen wield their hoses like swords, firing water into the air. One man finds to his alarm that there is still one fire-fighter inside the building. He and another start calling, "Captain!" Then their captain comes out through the flames, half-carrying a civilian. As he closes with them, he pulls loose his mask trying to catch his breath. He is Matoi Tatsumi and he brings the injured to safety. The other two men catch that one from his arms, asking if he or she is all right. Matoi has quick orders for them and suddenly ambulance personnel come racing to them. As they gather around their patient, Matoi takes his men with him, leaving the ambulance people. One is his sister, Matsuri, whose attention is for her patient. As she fits an oxygen mask on his face she asks, "Are you all right? Can you hear me?" Then she leaps to her feet and calls for action.

In the meantime the youngest Tatsumi boy, Daimon the police-officer, is struggling to keep back frantic people who want to race past the yellow line, into the building and find their loved ones. He looks like he's about to drown, shouting to be heard over the sirens that it is too dangerous. Another fire truck arrives carrying a chemical expert. Nagare, the second-born of the Tatsumi brothers. He takes a quick and careful look at the orange flames blazing into the night sky. "It's going too fast," he mutters to himself, then whirls and shouts to Daimon, his hand cupped to direct the sound, to get the civilians back. Shou, the third-born, is coming with a load of chemical retardant. And Daimon struggles to obey. Shou approaches, his helicopter like his own body until he has a good view. Torchlight beaming down shows the situation all too clearly. He tells himself that this is no ordinary fire.

Morning dawns, the sky lightens. Day comes. And then a flare of fire roars out and terrified people fall. Cars are overturned fleeing. The Tatsumi siblings are there already, each in their work-uniforms and Matoi leading the charge. They halt, Matoi seeing amongst the flames a figure, walking. White, with horns arching from his helmet. Hefty thighs and a general sense of calm menace. He walks their direction and Matoi brightly accuses him of being responsible for all this. His voice is light, startling in its pleasantness. "So what if it is?" he asks as he approaches. Daimon leaps to the forefront, his pistol out and shouts at the strange being not to come any closer. The being is not amused. His right fist glows and he flings out a powerful blast at the five. The backlash is hard on them, they have no armor to protect their bodies. He laughs wickedly, but then is hit by impacts. Startled, he looks up.

They arrive on the elegant, white Time Flyer. The woman calls them to attack, and they leap from their vehicle to dive out of the sky, They land in front of him, their backs to him. Then they announce themselves. "Time Red!" "Pink!" "Blue!" "Yellow!" "Green!" and now all five face him. The Tatsumis are getting up from where they had ended fallen and Matsuri gasps, "Time Ranger!" However, Matoi is not pleased and snarls bitterly, "You're LATE!" The fleeing civilians have stopped fleeing to watch with excited interest, gathered behind some drums. At the back of the crowd is a very tall person in a black cloak. Since he is behind everyone, no one can see his curling mustache, his goggle-covered eyes or his long, pointed nose. No one hears his smug giggle.

The Time Rangers face the white being. Seeming to find this all amusing he says to them, "What are you going to do, Time Ranger?" He sweeps his hand out to cover all of them, interested. He identifies himself smugly, "I am Boribaru. I've killed five hundred in hand-to-hand combat. I'm the strongest boxer in the universe!" Pink is rather peeved at his bragging, and so is Red, challenging him. Boribaru responds by telling them he'll take them all out with his punch.

In the crowd, the strange person's reaction catches the attention of the people in front of him, but it is not enough for them to really take notice of him. He thinks this will be interesting.

But Time Pink is not amused at all. The five announce the intent to arrest him for breaking the laws of time. Red leaps into the fray feet first, hitting Boribaru's chest with quick, hard kicks that push the criminal back, back a pace at a time and then send him flying. He lands on his feet, only to find Pink flying at him. "Vector End, Beat Six!" she cries and hits him pretty well. Blue and Yellow both have their cannons out and Green is on their heels. The three fire simultaneously and Boribaru is hit hard. And before he can recover, the Time Ranger bring their cannons all together to fire. Red calls, "Target!" and Pink adds, "Lock on!" Their target gasps and ducks back, holding out a hand in denial but that will never stop them from firing. The power swirls at him as he cries out and hits, flaring yellow light. The fire flares higher and dies down. The Time Rangers shift to look at their handiwork and Sion announces the win. The watching crowd gasps in admiration and all turn to look toward the body. But the body is still there and large, and starting to get back up.

He is shaky on his feet, still reeling. He does not really know what has happened, and neither do our heroes. Pink gasps in surprise, "We couldn't Escalate him?!" And the Tatsumis are also sputtering. Shou gasps, "The Time Ranger!" and Matoi, nearly having a hissy-fit, snarls, "What are they DOING?!" For they are just standing there, while their enemy raises his right arm and clenches his hand into a fist. With his own growl of rage, his hand transforms in coiling fire into a closed fist of blue metal. And he is stunned and delighted. "What is this? There's a lot of power coming from it!" The Time Ranger's hop forward and gasp. But before they can really react, he is moving. "Let's GO, Time Ranger!" and he punches forward. A ball of sheer white fire erupts from his fist. It hurtles towards the gathered heroes and sends them flying in all directions. Blue goes through a wall. Yellow into a bunch of cannisters. Green into some crates. Pink into a car window, and Red hits a wall hard enough to leave a strong impression. He looks like he's been crushed. The watching crowd all gasps and stares. The dark figure in the back chuckles and vanishes away. Red is slowly falling out of the deep indent in the cement wall. Little bits of broken cement fall with him as he lands on his front, seeming to lose consciousness.

The startled Tatsumis gasp and Matoi growls angrily. Boribaru is in shocked delight over his new power, admiring his closed fist. Then, with a smug laugh, he heads off. The Time Rangers are back on their feet, staggering and forming together. Matoi is spitting mad. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" he shouts at them. Shou and Daimon are quick to grab him before he leaps at them. Not angry enough to hurt his brothers, he snaps, "You were doing so well and then you let him go!!" Startled, the Time Rangers confront the group and then Red has to keep a very indignant Yellow from launching an angry attack at the equally restrained fire-fighter. Words, not blows, will be echanged, as Blue adds a hand to Yellow's shoulder. However, another fire-fighter has raced in and shouts, "Captain! There's a monster on 23rd Street!" Matoi acknowledges, then turns back to the Time Ranger with an expression of utter contempt. "You don't have enough fighting spirit!!" Then he whirls and takes his siblings with him to work. The Time Rangers are left ignored. Red is embarrassed. Blue is dusting himself off, and Yellow is about to chase after the group, but Green holds him back protesting, "Domon!"

The Londarz Tower in mid-day, and Boribaru has returned home with his tale. Dorunero whirls from the window in amazement. "What? You blasted the Time Ranger?" Boribaru holds up his altered right arm to show it off. Gien considers and says, "I don't believe it. You were hit by the Escalator and you're still here." But Boribaru is confident and hooks his left thumb at his own face. "I am the undefeated champion." Something about them not being able to match him. But then a stranger's laughter cuts the air. They turn and look about in confusion. The doors to the chamber slide apart. Someone stands, heavily cloaked. Only the big, fanged feet give him away to those who know him. The startled Londarz all reach for weapons as he walks in, and the Zenitto and Boribaru take up position to fire. Still laughing, the stranger informs them that he is the one whose magic power had kept Boribaru from the Escalator, and provided him with the altered arm. Pierre had tossed out a demon card. It had embedded itself in Boribaru's left shoulder and formed a protective, six-sided star in front of him against which the Time Rangers' blast had impacted. And so he had still been there to get up and fight, afterwards.

Suspicious and less than grateful, Dorunero demands to know who he is. The tall being removes his cloak to stand there in all his glory. They all step back, for they have never seen anyone as bizarre as this. He looks SO unnatural, and so he should as he is a demon. His blue-white face, sharply pointed ears, long serrated black nose and black, curling mustache. His brown hair and the little tufts of stiff hair on his neck. The great red fly's eyes above his shoulder and the wings on his back. "I am the Psyma Magician, Pierre," he introduces himself. Lira sneers. "Psyma, is it?" And then she grins maliciously and asks, "What's that?" Perhaps Gien has an answer, you never know. Yellow eyes narrowing, he asks, "You mean those who changed the earth into a dark shadow?" Pierre's answer is basically in the affirmative as he toadies forward towards Dorunero. Boribaru and the Zenitto move aside, seeming bemused. "I came here to aks you something. I would really like to join the Londarz Family," Pierre tells the Don. "What?" asks the Don for clarification. "The Psyma were destroyed and I couldn't be with those losers." And Pierre goes on to tell the story of how, when the Time Ranger were fighting Jaggaru (in Episode 28, which shortly resulted in V-Rex and Time Fire), he had been flying around in fly form watching. "I saw your power and I thought I could use my power for you people!" And also when Gien's great robot Nove fought the Raimei. He'd been tremendously impressed with their destructive potential. And then he was hit by blue lightning and restored to his true size and form, hitting the ground on his hands and knees rather painfully. "I thought this was a friendship that could be forever!"

And now he goes to his knees in front of Dorunero, begging. "If I was in the Londarz, we would all be demons!" The Don starts to laugh and says that this will be interesting. Lira grabs his arm to argue about it, though. Shaking him she protests, "Wait a minute, Dorunero! Are you really saying it's okay for this ... this fly-man to join us?!" "Fly-man?!" Pierre repeats, startled to hear himself described that way.

The next day.... In Tomorrow Research, Sion's computer screen is full of information as he is running diagnostics on the Vol-Tech Bazooka. So far they've turned up zilch. NOTHING was wrong with the machine. Yuuri beside him is fingering through papers. Tatsuya is lost in his own thoughts, thumb brushing his chin as he remembers the day before. That small group of people. The young woman in her uniform. The man in his silver and yellow outfit looking at them with folded arms. The policeman and the pilot holding back a very outraged fireman who shouted, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! You were doing so well and then you let him go!! You don't have enough fighting spirit!!" Remembering that last particularly, Tatsuya swallows a lump in his throat. He cannot help but feel the angry stranger was right, and it hurts. Yuuri notices his silence and turns to ask, "What's the matter, Tatsuya?" Startled from his thoughts, he shifts and answers, "Oh, I was just thinking about what happened yesterday." Domon hears and grumps, folding his arms and stalking about, "You mean those rescue-people? Just forget about them!" he says snidely, and therefore misses the door to the office opening behind him. They have customers and GUESS who they are!

Four young people in orange jackets enter somewhat shyly. The man in the lead has an oval, long face, hair that refuses to quite stay tidy, and wide-set intelligent eyes. "Um, excuse me," he starts. But he is cut off as the whole group gawps at him. Tatsuya and Sion particulary gasp out sounds of disbelief and point at their visitors. Domon's sound of disbelief is more an indignant growl. Startled at this reception, the Tatsumis stare back curiously.

Tomorrow Research gathers on one side of the table, while they've settled their guests in the chairs and couch on the other side. They've passed out tea and Daimon quickly drinks his, provoking Nagare to hiss, "You've gotta drink it slowly!" Yuuri decides to get down to business. "What can we do for you?" Matoi quickly digs into the inner pocket of his jacket while his sister watches beside him. He has a photo to show them. "We'd like you to find our father, Professor Mondo Tatsumi. He disappeared about three months ago on some work." The photo is of the five of them in their uniforms, with their helmets off, grinning proudly around their father at their center. Tatsuya's mouth drops open and he takes the photo to gaze at it in amazement. He stares from it to his guests and back, and soon is grinning like a loon. "Oh, man! You were the guys who fought the Psyma! You're the famous Gogofive!" Eyes bright, he raises his hand against his forehead in a salute. Somewhat sheepish, Matoi admits it but indicates not really now, and his sister beside him agrees.

Sion and Yuuri just stare at them, then at each other in complete incomprehension. Domon, who has been watching them with irritation all this time, straightens up beside Ayase. Both men look at each other and ask, "Who?" Then they stare with equal suspicious irritation at their visitors, who are blissfully unaware of their anger. Daimon lifts his gaze stubbornly and says, "Father took our Gogobracelets with him." Nagare adds unhappily, "Without the bracelets, we can't transform into our fighting armor." Daimon nods unhappy agreement. Shou announces his belief that their father intended to modify the bracelets to use against the Londarz. Matoi takes up the thread with a complaint about the Time Rangers and thinking that group needs a little help to defend the Earth. Matsuri is getting a little tired of her brother's spitefulness and says so, but Nagare is in complete agreement. And the Time Rangers, who are in fact sitting across from them, all shift uncomfortably to hide their Chrono Changers in their sleeves, though Domon and Ayase both look quite irritated. Yuuri's annoyance is beginning to show in her voice. "So, what do you mean?" she asks them. Matoi picks up the irritation and gets to his feet to explain proudly that they, too, will fight the Londarz and show those Time Rangers what fighting spirit really is. I think Domon is about to choke on all the things he cannot say. "What?" he manages to ask calmly enough. Ayase leans away against the wall and turns the back of his shoulder to them. "20th Century people can't fight the Londarz," he says quietly.

This phrase catches Nagare's attention and he turns a bright, wondering expression at the man who seems to be ignoring them. Sion, startled by this breach, whispers, "Ayase!" and then, feeling the tension in his other friend beside him, reaches calming hands, "Domon, you too?" but Domon jerks away slightly and continues to stare angrily at their visitors. Yuuri is the only one managing to look perfectly normal and inquisitive, while Tatsuya is nervously glancing back at the two angry men. At that moment, Takku opens his eyes and alerts them, "Everyone, it's terrible! The Londarz are in the city!" The reaction from the Gogofive is of immense surprise and confused amazement, Shou pointing and all gaping at the elegant little robot. Grabbing Matoi's shoulder, Shou says, "He can talk!" the others are agreeing, but they are all forgotten. Yuuri and Tatsuya nod at each other and slide quickly to their feet. They are first to race through the crowd of Tatsumis, who are then tumbled about as Domon, Sion and Ayase leap after their friends. The poor family is hollaring, "Hey! What about our father!"

The Londarz are indeed in the city. And not just ONE Londarz. A whole crew of them walk, crowds of terrified people breaking before them. A red and pale blue male creature. A female creature with rainbow hair and a target sight on one eye. A male looking like a crazed gladiator. Another male, silver on one side and red on the other. A male creature who is yellow with horns. As the Time Ranger reach the area, this group of Londarz laugh and growl. Yuuri is at the heart of the group and she says firmly, "This is as far as you go, Londarz!" The yellow one greets them first. "Oh, are you the Time Rangers?" and the female one has a snide comment to make on them getting their butts wiped by Boribaru, "But I guess you lived." Tatsuya, staring at the selection before them, points and asks in soft confusion, "Didn't we get these guys already? Why are they here?" Fortunately an explanation is forthcoming. The yellow says, "You're wrong! I am Dogoru's younger twin brother, Rearu!" The female anounces, "I am Reihou's older sister, Rupia." The mad gladiator tells them, "I am Oogu's uncle Baatsu." The pale blue and red one says, "I am Geymark's better cousin, Dinaaru!" The red and silver one says, "And I was Blaster Mad's next door neighbor, Sealing!" Five villains, one for each ranger. And for their family, they will fight.

Tatsuya's logical response to all this is, "You've gotta be kidding." And Domon's is, "You guys are all in the same family?" But the Tatsumis have finally caught up with the runaway group. Seeing the goings on, they take cover to watch with interest. And Yuuri shouts, "Let's go!" and they sweep off their outer garments and toss them away. The Tatsumis end up with these people's clothes covering their faces, but the group is quick on the uptake anyway. They are still tearing themselves free when the Time Rangers finish their shift into armor. Ruffled, the Tatsumis stare and Matsuri is the first to announce what they've just witnessed. "Those guys are the Time Rangers!" Matoi's jaw drops, and not in a happy way. And perhaps he is totally chagrined for the things he'd said in front of them. Shou is willing to agree with him when he says it. Daimon chews on his fingernails nervously.

Dorunero has arrived to witness the fray along with his pair of friends and Pierre. He wants to see this magic at work. An irritated Lira grabs and pushes at Pierre, telling Fly-Man to get a move on. And Pierre obeys, tossing out five black and silver magic cards. Each impacts in the back of one of the criminals, and then he performs his magic, infecting them with the power of the Psyma. The five criminals are limned in red lightning, crying out as they are jolted. When it is over, they seem no different. But when Time Pink tries her Vector Hurry at them, it seems to have no effect. Baatsu just laughs. And then, before they can recover, the five attack our heroes! The Time Rangers fall in confusion and start to get back up again. Domon growls in amazement, "They're so strong!" The watching Gogofive wince in sympathy. Daimon says, "This is getting bad." Nagare agrees harshly, but he has noticed something very strange and is about to concentrate on it, when they hear amused laughter behind them. The group whirls.

Boribaru is there, laughing heartily. They move into defense positions, Matoi uttering an oath. But Boribaru speaks, "We have more than before, a mountain of power more." And Pierre pokes his head up over Boribaru's shoulder, grinning at them. "That's right!" Matoi's mouth does an even further drop. "Pierre!" "Long time no see!" that one greets them, stepping out from behind the Londarz. He explains happily that he has wed the Psyma power to the Londarz. And then he fires on them from his cane. Armorless, they can only cry out and dive for cover. But there is no cover, and the two enemies move slowly towards them to prolong the terror. And then, the roar of an engine overrides everything. Pierre and Boribaru look around to find a mad motorcyclist coming at them. They are knocked aside and the motorcycle stops. The rider, all clad in black, dismounts. Matoi scrambles up, "Who are you?" The man tosses off his black to reveal a white lab coat, then pulls off his helmet. It is their father, Professor Mondo Tatsumi!

"Father!" Matsuri gasps. He chuckles and gives them a jaunty salute. "Yo." With cries of joy they gather around him, though Shou asks accusingly, "Where did you go?" He explains rapidfire that he's been modifying their bracelets just in case Pierre came back, because he had detected an upsurge in the minus-energy. He starts handing them their bracelets almost too quickly for their grasping hands. He has them stashed all over his body and Matoi is impatient for his, but finally Mondo digs it out of his left sock, which prompts a startled, "In your sock, Dad?" from Nagare. But he encourages them to hurry and change.

Meanwhile, Time Red is getting the worst of it against Rupia. He is the last to fall, the five lie together without the strength to get to their feet, though they struggle. And the five Londarz approach them, looking quite deadly. But suddenly white clad legs move in front of their faces. The five Tatsumis are there, standing protectively in front of the fallen Time Rangers. The attacking group stops and Rupia demands indignantly, "Who are you crazy fools?" But the Tatsumis have out their arms with their bracelets, and start their change-sequence. And in a moment, a second team faces the villains. Go Red announces, "Saving one life is saving the world!" They are the rescue group, Gogofive. Ayase is impressed in spite of himself. He straightens up as best he can to get a good view. "Those're the Gogofive..?" The group heads into battle, and their Five Lasers and Blasters do the damage the Time Rangers' weapons were unable to do. V-Lancer, Divider, and the team snatches up their leader and makes him the focus of their launch, tossing him at the villains. He cuts through them like a knife. With this respite the Time Rangers are back on their feet and watching with excitement. Sion crows, "They're great!" and begins applauding, provoking an irritated Domon to whapping his helmet. "Don't be foolish!" and something else. Yuuri calls, "I'm fighting too!" and heads into the fray with Ayase on her heels.

Don Dorunero is quite displeased, and lets Pierre know this, whapping his shoulder. Lira mocks him and Pierre has to pull a new trick out of his hat. He has another card, a special one of a golden demon. Stubbornly, he walks to the edge of the building to use it. And he tosses this mighty card for Boribaru to use, to move to another time and practice against the teams. It impacts his back, and then... Pierre starts his spell. The power rolls into Boribaru. He feels it, raises his arms and the skies go dark. Frightened and confused, the two teams assemble together and face the villains. Takku witnesses the heavy, blue-white lightning and soon knows what it means. "This is..!" he starts in horror. And Professor Mondo Tatsumi has a bracelet around his wrist which is beeping warning. He knows what's happening, too. "It's the minus-energy!" he leaps to call warning to his children. But before they can obey his call to flee, Boribaru fires a beam of power into the sky and a vortex opens up. Mondo knows the energy is opening a time-hole. The two reds are sucked into it first, the villains and the others of the groups follow. Mondo cries out and reaches up after them, but it is too late. Takku cries, "This is terrible!" And Boribaru, seeing the result of his efforts, decides happily to go in after them. The hole closes. Pierre is in ecstacy and Lira laughs with joy. The Gogofive and Time Ranger are both lost in time, and they cannot even use their bracelets! Don Dorunero is very pleased. With the heroes erased from the game, the world is theirs.

Green water in a pond. A boat, old and left to rot slowly filling with the water. A Buddhist statuette, wearing a red cloth hat and cloak. The bells of mid-day. Cloth stirs in a breeze. A deep whistle pierces the air. And pursued by that whistle, two young men in orange jackets race with frightened gasps. Behind them are a group of people whose clothing is of an ancient style, who wear woven sandals and hats. The fleeing men are Shou and Daimon Tatsumi. As they race ahead of the menacing crowd they ask each other what is happening. Terror-stricken, they hurtle around one corner after another, the crowd sometimes beginning to close the gap, sometimes falling behind. Hurtling around one corner, they are unprepared when a hand suddenly springs from a doorway, catches Shou's collar and drags him into a building, Daimon caught in the wake. The door slides shut behind them. The crowd races on by. Panicked Daimon is held by a firm hand covering his mouth. His wide, terrified eyes light on the hand pinning his brother's mouth shut, and the silver, oval bracelet on its wrist. Shou is starting to slap at the hand. Then both men are released as they begin to realize who has them.

It is Domon, now dressed in clothing of this time-period who indicates firmly for them to be silent and stands up. Sion is beside him, also in new clothing. Both hold fingers to their lips sternly. When the shouting of their pursuers dies away, Shou can finally ask with a trembling voice, "What is this box?" and he fingers the box hanging from a rope about Sion's kneck. Sion grins and laughs, holding it up, but it is Domon who explains with clear amusement. Dumbfounded, Shou and Daimon stare at each other. "What does that mean?" they ask simultaneously.

Cawing of carrion crows. Yuuri walks under the blue, cloud-studded sky and looks around. Matsuri is with her, staying close to the stern woman and swallowing nervously. A weathervane turns slowly in the wind. They are in a wild-West town, and saloon doors creak as the heavy breeze pushes at them. There are many footprints in the damp ground, yet the town seems a ghost town. At last Matsuri asks, "What are we doing here?" They are both keeping their eyes peeled. Yuuri simply says, "We don't have a plan." They walk on, eyes alert for any sign of life. As yet they've missed the painted faces that peer through cracks at them. Men whose faces you never quite see enough of. Someone wearing buckskins, barefoot, steps out from behind a barrel. He suddenly races towards the two women. But they are alert, and turn before he reaches them. He is dressed as an American Indian. He and several others just like him come racing in for the attack. Yuuri and Matsuri fight together with ease and skill. Yuuri strikes one flat in the face and he falls with a cry. Then his body jerks, and his face changes. Those attacking them are really Zenitto. Confused, Matsuri asks, "What is this about?!" but then the remaining Zenitto try to trap them in ropes, and the women are soon caught by their wrists, and struggle not to let themselves be torn apart. Just as things are looking bad, one Zenitto is dropped by bullets and Yuuri looks up to see two men on horseback racinng in, wearing cowboy hats and carrying pistols. They are Ayase and Nagare, come to be heroes for the women of their lives. They take out the Zenitto with well-placed shots and ride to the women. Ayase cries tensely, "Ride!" and Yuuri nods and clambers up behind him. Matsuri has followed suit with Nagare, and they race off together on the big horses. Matsuri asks panicked as they ride, "Where are we? What's happening to us?" Nagare glaces over at Ayase, who explains that they've been dumped in another time.

Brilliant sunshine over a pure, cloudless blue sky. Cliffs and trees everywhere. Seems like a high altitude. When we find Tatsuya, he is breathing heavily and looking about in confusion. "Where am I?" And then he has to stand and simply stare at the two pteradactyls in the sky. At the distant volcano which might someday be Mt Fuji. He takes a quick breath and speaks into his Chrono Changer. "This is Tatsuya! Answer, please!" Nothing. He pats at the buttons lightly, but there is no power and he says in dismay, "This is bad." But then a distant voice raises above the sound of the wind. "Hey, someone!" Startled and relieved, Tatsuya follows it. At the edge of a cliff he peers down. There is a campfire below, and there is Matoi Tatsumi, surrounded by a primitive family which seems to consist of three adults, two juveniles and two children. They are pressing gifts of food on him and not understanding a word of what he says. He is trying to get away without hurting or frightening them. They are pushing fruit on him, and what appears to be bird meat roasted on a stick. One woman has her gifts displayed on a large, green leaf. "Thanks, no, really I HEY!" he shouts, seeing Tatsuya far above on the cliff. "Help me out here, please!" and continues trying to beg off the food. "No, really, I don't need any. I'm full." Tatsuya, seeing that the man is in no danger, shoves his hands in his pockets and starts laughing. "What, you don't want to stay and join them?" Matoi scowls up at him briefly, while still trying to convince the small family group to let him alone. He gets to his feet as they bounce exitedly around him and shouts. "Hey, where are we? What's happened to us?"

But the answer comes in the form of blue-white lightning which terrifies the family and sets fire to the dry, early fall grasses. Tatsuya shivers in fright atop the cliff and then, as the explosions intensify, he is shaken and knocked flying, to land hard below and roll slightly before curling around his ribs. The family flees, but Matoi goes to the fallen man quickly. "Are you all right? Come on, get up!" and helps him to his feet. Tatsuya is badly winded, but otherwise seems all right. And then Boribaru's laughter cuts the air. He has arrived with the yellow Rearu. "Londarz!" cries Tatsuya. "You can't run away from us," replies Boribaru, mockingly. The two young men move into battle position, to call for their armor. But neither has power. They cannot change and are essentially defenseless for, as Boribaru points out, they have no power in this time. He and Rearu now go on the attack.

In the year 2000, police cars are sent careening into each other to sharp explosions. Civilians scream in panic. As the Londarz strut down the road, Dorunero shouts, "There are no Time Ranger and no Gogofive anymore!" and he gloats as Zenitto get into jewelry stores and bash cases open (they are cutting corners again, using scenes from the first episode rather than new ones). Lira laughs happily, loving every minute of this. The Zenitto get into a bank and shoot it apart (again, re-using first episode scenes).

Under a tall building, Takku is watching all this in dismay and calls, "Tatsuya! Can you hear me, Tatsuya!" But though he applies all his programming, there is no response. "It won't work. They're nowhere near this time!" He is starting to get frantic, when a hand taps him on the head. He turns and gasps with surprise when he sees the tall man in white lab coat, long hair tied back, who bends down to him. "You're with the Time Ranger, aren't you?" Takku knows him. "You are Professor Tatsumi!" He nods agreement and says urgently that he needs to use Takku. He looks around at the destruction going on, then adds that he thinks they can get the others back and please. Takku is quite willing. But then there is evil laughter. Pierre has arrived to cut off any rescue attempt. He and Professor Tatsumi are acquainted. Mondo doesn't have time for dismay, for a crowd of Zenitto comes tromping towards them. Pierre giggles madly and starts forward with his gun-cane, ready to fire and bring them down. Mondo snatches up Takku to hold him protectively, but there is nowhere to easily flee to. "Die!" laughs Pierre. But just before he can fire, his cane is shot from his hands. Startled, they all look about but nowhere can they see his assailant. And then there is the mysterious, echoing clicking. Somewhere, a beautiful, dragon-head shaped gun is being tapped against the back of a red-clad hand. The Zenitto dance about in confusion. Furious, Pierre cries, "Who did that?!" and the answer finally comes. Far above them, atop a building, stands a tall figure. His red and black uniform is stark against the sky. Pierre sees him at last and cries, "What are you?" The man gives a sort of snort. "Did you forget Time Fire?" And he leaps from the building to go into battle.

In the gardens between rich men's buildings, Domon and Daimon fight Zenitto that are clad in black yukata. Domon is making short work of his opponents with well-placed blows. Daimon, who is in a blue kimono with a white obi, his head sheltered by a blue scarf, is also fighting. As he takes down one of his, he sees Domon catch one Zenitto's arm and bring his hand down in a swift strike that breaks the blade from the katana the enemy holds. "Wow! Great, great, great!!" Daimon cries in delight. Domon, always softened by praise, eases up in his annoyance with the Gogofive even as he takes out two more Zenitto without even looking at them. "I was a pro-fighter!" he tells the excited youngster with a proud grin. Daimon is happy to follow his example and fight by his side. Or back to back, for the two brace themselves together and Domon says with affectionate challenge, "Can you do it?" "Oh, YES!" And the two, side by side, scream in challenge and hurtle further into the fray.

Inside a building, a Zenitto goes flying into a wall and knocks it down. There is a samurai in white. It is Shou, and this outfit and clothing suit him well, he is beautiful and very natural. He fights the Zenitto with a katana, blazing through them. They shift venues, moving towards the entry to the house.

Sion seems to be using pinwheels as a weapon, as he fights alone against some Zenitto. He leaps back, high into the air to stand above them and tosses two pinwheels which hit just right to disable two Zenitto. The third is taken down just as easily, and Sion says happily, "I did it!" But then a hard, dark hand shoves him and he falls to the street below. Shou, Domon and Daimon are at his side at once to make certain he is all right, and he is although shaken. Above them are Baatsu and Sealing, laughing. Things are getting bad.

Back in the wild west, a group of Zenitto in Indian leathers are dance-marching at two women. These women wear jeans-skirts and cowboy boots, their legs are pale or in nylons. They stand back to back, leggy and confident. Matsuri wears brighter colors than Yuuri, but the outfits are much the same. A red jacket to a lilac one. A red cowboy hat to a tan and brown one. They move into action as one, firing on the Zenitto, who fall. They easily take the ones down who are in ambush, and then both, backs pressed together, wink at the remaining Zenitto, who fall. Ayase comes leaping from one side-building and Nagare another. They fire and take down Zenitto happily. The two men roll and come standing up on opposite sides next to each other, firing again. Nagare carries two pistols and Ayase only one. Both men are deadly accurate. The Zenitto they faced are down, and both whirl their guns and holster them, breathing out. Ayase glances at Nagare, who has pushed up his hat, and snickers. "Don't act like you're cool." Nagare gives him a dirty look. "You don't have the right to say that to me." They both snort indignantly at each other and turn their backs, but the quiet feuding is interrupted by small explosions around them. They dive and roll for cover behind some barrels, the women there with them. Rupia and Dinaaru are firing at them from the eave of the Saloon. They are driven from this small cover and race inside one building. The two villains leap down to the street. Rupia mocks, "Hey, come on out!" and waves her hand summoning them. Hidden around the corner, Aayse checks his gun only to find in horror that he is out of bullets. He meets Yuuri's gaze in dismay and she reports the same problem. Nagare, seeing their dismay, tries to reassure them. "Something will happen, if all of we siblings put our power together, a miracle will occur." Matsuri grins in fond agreement and says, "We can get through anything," and together the two finish, "because we're family."

Yuuri stares at them wistfully, her eyes shining with old pain. She says quietly, "I envy you. I don't have any... family." Ayase tilts his head to her empathically, and then says half-scoldingly, "What are you saying? You've got us. Your special group." She meets his eyes and almost smiles.

And Boribaru has Tatsuya by the throat, but our man breaks loose for a moment to get in a few punches, but then is caught again and beaten to the ground. Matoi fights Rearu and is also punched down, but then Boribaru flings Tatsuya over to land hard near Matoi, who reaches to help him. And it looks bad. The two enemy are ready to kill now. Rearu fires on the men and the explosions rock them. Both fall, in pain and clutching at their chests. The enemies laugh. "If you're going to throw the towel in, you'd best do it now!" Tatsuya, frustrated with his helplessness, slams a fist into the ground and cries, "I'm not giving up here! You're not going to stop my future!" But exhausted, he falls on his back. Matoi, lifting his head and wincing at the pain in his split lip, turns to the other man. "Stop thinking about yourself all the time! If you're going to change something, then why not change the world's future?" He sits up, glaring fiercely. Tatsuya rolls over and grabs Matoi's jacket. "Then..." and then he gets somewhat hysterical and shakes the other man. "Then what am I supposed to DO?!" They simply gaze at each other in frustration.

Boribaru is approaching now, to mock them. "If you're going to fight, then you may as well fight in Hell." Matoi pulls himself loose and gets to his feet with a snarl of defiant fury. "If you're going to fight, you have to use your fighting spirit to win!" Tatsuya stares up at him unhappily, but tracks the phrase and repeats it. "Fighting spirit.... Right." With a quick breath he gets to his feet beside Matoi and shouts, "Fighting spirit!" And with a roar, the two men leap into a run against their enemies, who are so surprised by this, they do not think to move or attack. Both are struck by the young men and sent flying back a bit. The two Londarz land on their feet and Boribaru is about to attack with his deadly right hand when they hear shouting above them and he turns.

The family has returned, gotten up to the top of the cliff and now they are hurling boulders down at the two enemies. This causes a rock slide, and half buries the pair. Matoi stares, dumbfounded, first at the fallen, then at the family far above who bound up and down, celebrating. Laughing, he and Tatsuya shout their thanks. The family cries joy back at them.

Time Fire races into battle. He wades through the Zenitto with happy enthusiasm, until he notices that Pierre has cornered Professor Tatsumi, who continues to hold Takku protectively. "Look out!" Time Fire shouts. He finishes off the one Zenitto he faces and races to help. Pierre is about to shoot Mondo down. Time Fire leaps between and takes the impacts, falling in sparks and smoke with a cry of pain. His armor shuts down but he doesn't pause. He has out his pistol with its powerful, armor-piercing bullets and fire rapidly. Pierre is driven back and away, frightened. Mondo comes to the fallen man quickly, to lay a hand on Naoto's arm. "Are you all right?" he asks frantically. Naoto replies affirmative but, "It all happened too quickly. My bracelet's over-heated." He looks unhappily at it. But then so does Takku with sudden hope. The little robot says, "The V-Rex has a Chronos-unit! I think we can use it to get the others back!" Mondo agrees, "Then let's hurry up and do it!" The little robot says anxiously, "Please help up, Naoto! Please call the V-Rex!" and Mondo adds his voice to the plea. "For my children. For the sake of the world, please!" Naoto, still lying on the cement, gazes back at them. Then he nods just a small nod. And we who know them know also that he would have done it anyway. He gets to his feet, glances about, then calls into his bracelet. "Come, V-Rex!" And in the woods it quickly digs its way out of its cave. The great robot races in to stand above them, and the terrified Pierre flees before he can be crushed by the huge feet. Mondo stares up and gives a sound of appreciative amazement, pleasing Naoto. But Takku quickly tells him what must be done. "Professor, you'll have to input a time code!" He is quite agreeable on this. They will use the Chronos Unit to reach through time. Takku flies up, into the V-Rex's mouth and lands in the cockpit (which was never used in the series, was it?). There is a place for him, there, to start programming. Mondo calls the coding to him, after staring at his wrist-intsrument. "X 0 4 Y 1 oku 5!" And Takku signals through the bracelet asking Naoto to call for the Rex Lasers. Agreeably he does. And the V-Rex fires its red beams into the skies. Brillian light fills the air. A colorless vortex opens. Takku says, "Phase Two, using the Chronos Unit!" Naoto calls "Voice Formation, V-Rex Robo!" and his mech obediantly changes configuration to humanoid form. And Naoto calls, "Chronos Unit, start!" Green balls of fire curl around and green lighting springs from the V-Rex's turbines. It fires into the vortex, which turns black.

Far below, Dorunero sees it happening. "What are those guys doing?" Pierre reaches them, shaking and frightened. Lira stays close to the Don for protection, but peers up at the events going on. Gien knows. "They plan to call the Time Ranger back!" His eyes open wide and red. And the vortex opens in the sky above Daimon, Shou, Domon and Sion. They stare up at it in surprise, but then their bracelets begin to glow brightly yellow and green. "This is..." starts Domon. "The Chrono Chaners are..!" continues Sion. And a time away, Nagare is first to notice the blue glow of his bracelet. They all peer out the door and see the brilling light and dark vortex above the town. Nagare and Ayase mesh with delight. They can get back! Yuuri, eyes shining bright, says firmly, "It looks like we can get back." They all nod and grunt happy agreement. Side by side, Matoi and Tatsuya grin with delight as their bracelet shine redly. Matoi pats Tatsuya smugly. "There, you see? Your can still help the future!" Tatsuya blushes and meets his gaze sheepishly, "I get it. But it's not my future I need to change. It's the future of the world." And then he grins at Matoi, who grins back and says, "Now THAT'S the attitude." Now it is Tatsuya who bops Matoi on the shoulder affectionately. And Tatsuya leads the change into their armor, while the enemies approach. He is beautiful, leaping into battle, and so is Matoi.

A time away, Domon and Sion lead the change, followed quickly by Daimon and Shou. Another time away, Rupia and Dinaaru find their prey racing at them to their surprise. Then their prey transforms into battle armor. Yuuri and Ayase lead the change, Matsuri and Nagare quick to catch up. Matsuri actually heads the attack, using her gun to fire freezing foam on the enemies, who cry out in surprise as they are blinded. Nagare is firing in next, and his shots do a good on both of them. Ayase is in next with the Vector Hurry and Yuuri with the Vol Sniper. Both enemies are going up in flames. In another time, Sion calls for an attack where the other three hold him up and fling him at the enemy. "Go!" and he hits hard. Time Red is using his Double Vectors to great effect against Boribaru. "Vector End, Beat Cross!" he calls and sweeps through the actions. It does wonderfully. And Go Red is also haveing a grand time against Sealing. Both enemies are defeated. And then... then the vortex dumps fallen villains back into the year 2000. The two teams of heroes land very smoothly above them.

Delighted, Mondo and Takku call out together, "Everyone!" Amusingly, it is Time Red who calls, "Saving one life is the future of the world!" and Go Red adds, "We are the Rescue Machine! Rescue soldiers -- " and together his group salutes and announces, "Gogofive!" and the other team calls out, "Time Ranger!" And they move in their signature challenge motions, unnerving the watching Londarz. And Time Red has out his badge and shouts, "You are all under arrest for breaking the laws of time." And both teams start down the stairs. They race into battle.

Naoto, watching this with a relief no one will ever know he feels, calls into his bracelet, "Time Fire!" He is soon in his armor and uses the DV Defender. The Gogofive call in their Life Bird and say "Set up, Breaker-Mode! Lock on! Calamity Breaker!" Their fire takes out Zenitto left and right. And the Time Ranger have out their own Vol-Tech Bazooka. And this time, when they fire with the Press Refreezer, the five enemies are hit and shrunk. That battle is over. Dorunero turns in fury as the combined teams race towards them. Time Red halts the rush and snarls, "Dorunero, you are under arrest!" With a furious growl, Dorunero turns on Pierre. "This is all your fault!" Lira seems just plain peeved and huffs her contempt. But though he is trying to speak to them, the three turn their backs on him and with a hop, teleport away. Shrieking, Pierre cries, "Wait, wait! You didn't take me with you!"

But then Go Red chooses this moment to challenge him. Boribaru, still there, has enjoyed all this and is willing to tie his fortunes to Pierre's. And Pierre tosses aside his cane and starts a powerful magic spell. Boribaru comes to stand behind him. And the two form together, becoming one giant being that is somehow half of each of them. He tromps through the city, and Time Red calls "Takku!" Takku calls for the ships and Providus sends both the Time Jets and Time Shadow back across the gulf of a thousand years.

They form first Time Robo Alpha and bring out Jikuuken. Mondo watches the two robots in respectful delight. They face the giant monster, but are not doing well, for his magic is proof against their technology. Far below, the Gogofive shout encouragement and cry in dismay. Sion says, "We can't do it!" But Tatsuya replies in a shout, "Don't give up! Let's use our fighting spirit!" He has picked up this term from Matoi, and will keep it. He calls for Shadow Alpha. In this formation, they try again. They are tremendously powerful, but the Chrono-Divider and Blizzard Slash are halted by the powerful enemy, who flings them back and they fall in orange fire. Time Shadow and the 3 D Formation are parted and it is Time Robo Alpha that lands, alone, on its side. The mixed being laughs. The Gogofive cry out in anguish. They want to help, but they can't. Daimon protests, "We could fight too, but we need Victory Robo!" Nagare shakes his head. "It's no good. Bay Area 55 is buried in the ocean." Professor Tatsumi is nodding agreement. "This is a problem." He looks sadly towards the fallen robot. His eyes light on the green Time-tunnel on its chest, through which it had brought the giant sword. "Wait a minute..." Takku is still cradled in his arms. "Maybe there is something we can do." Matsuri says, "HUH?!" but Mondo is not finished. "Time Robo, stand up please!" And when they obey he says urgently to Matoi, "Right, try it! Call them!" Confused, but willing, Matoi shouts into his bracelet, "Go Liner! Max Liner, come!"

His voice echoes, reaching into the Time Tunnel. The search begins until the machine's time settles on 1999. The Bay Area 55 sits content in the light of day, when suddenly the Max Shuttle rockets from its bay, dragging the great train behind it. The Time Ranger, not really understanding what's going on, cry out in surprise as Time Robo Alpha shakes. And in a moment, their Time Tunnel glows brilliant and the train comes flying out it. Domon gapes. "What the hell is that?!"

Links uncouple. The Max Shuttle hurtles past the Super Express Train. The Grand Liner roars through miraculously empty streets. It also hurtles past the Super Express Train, headed for the heroes who called it. It halts and the delighted group gapes. Mondo is quite smug at his successful use of the Time Robot technology, but I think Takku is less pleased. There is not a lot of time. Because of the size of the machines, they will soon return to their own time. They have very little time, perhaps he says three minutes (whew!). Warned, the Gogofive race to their machines. As quickly as they can, they settle in their familiar cockpits and call for the formation. Victory Robo. In Time Robo Alpha, Time Red calls in delight, "That's..!" and far below, Time Fire stands and folds his arms in appreciation. "Victory Robo!" The great train robot take sup position beside the Time Robot to face BoriPierre. Matoi starts the punching arms, and the whirling feet. But aftetr getting knocked a bit, BoriPierre strikes them hard with his own power. They are not proof against it. They can fight the magic, but not the technology. Under Tatsuya's control, Time Robo Alpha bends to help its brother robot up. "You guys all right in there?" he calls. Mondo has angry advice for them. "You can't fight him yourselves! You have to pool your power together into ONE!" Tatsuya, bewildered, repeats it. But Matoi knows what to do. He raises the robot. Tatsuya calls in the Jikuuken. Matoi calls in the Braver Sword and they clank their agreement. The pair strike BoriPierre, temporarily disabling him and buying enough time to do what they have to. Matoi calls for the fire sword. A ring of blazing flame and then he tells the Time Ranger they will pass this to them. The flaming sword is a mighty sight. Tatsuya excitedly swings Jikuuken forward and the flame leaps from one giant blade to the other. The small blade in Tatsuya's hands glows orange-white. And now, they use their own flaming blade against BoriPierre. At Takku's urging, Time Fire calls in the V-Rex, and Time Robo Alpha leaps aboard its back as they race in against BoriPierre. They are an awesome sight, and their enemy is terrified as they bear down upon him. "Pressure Prominence!" cries Tatsuya, swinging the sword. And BoriPierre cries out and twists. The fire on the blade goes out, transferred to their enemy. "Time up!" crow the Time Ranger, to be echoed heartily by the Gogofive. In brilliant fire, Boribaru is no longer one with Pierre, whose body is translucent and he cries out, "Goodbye!" as his spirit evaporates. Boribaru shrinks, frozen again.

The watching, Mondo and Takku cry in delight, "You did it!" Time Fire adds a mild salute, a calmer, "You did it," but nonetheless his congratulations have been said. The three great robots stand together. It is over, afternoon is beginning to darken towards evening. The Gogofive and Time Ranger race to meet each other. They come together calmly enough, when a train whistle splits the air. They look up to see the Max Shuttle taking the Liner through a whirling vortex. Matsuri is both wistful and proud. "They're going back, right? To 1999." Shou agrees softly, "Yes. They have to be there to help us against the Psyma." He puts his arm against her back in comfort. Sion nearest him frets about history, and Ayase adds that it is what they are hear for, to protect history. He looks with pride at the Gogofive. Yuuri is next to speak. "To protect your past, and our future." Nagare is gazing thoughtfully at the sky. "The future." And suddenly it hits him. "Wait, you guys came from the future?" Daimon, beside him, had missed all the subtleties of the conversation, but now it hits. "What? WHAT?! What are you saying?!" and Nagare is trying to beg off on the question. In frustration, he whaps the over-excited youngster's forehead. Domon waves it off, "It's better if you don't understand." Daimon bounds to him, yanking on his arm and pleading, "Teach me, teach me, teach me!" and Domon has to struggle with the youngster. Amused, Matoi grins at this byplay, and turns his attention to the group to announce that he thinks they are great. His batch gathers next to him, even Daimon who is calming down, and he gives a short speech about how they will all protect people. He steps forward and holds out his hand to Tatsuya. It only takes a moment for each of them to step forward and shake hands with their counterpart. Tatsuya thanks Matoi earnestly, then with a mischief-filled grin, announces that they will use their fighting spirit to fight the Londarz. Ayase snorts, but Sion and Domon are happy to move into position with Tatsuya. Yuuri, who never doubted her fighting spirit, is relaxed. The two teams laugh at each other's antics, and Domon blows the group a kiss.

"At attention everyone!" calls Matoi. The Gogofive stiffen obediently, and now they salute their successors. The others salute back, Domon and Tatsuys clumsily, Ayase with a relaxed, wry expression, Sion and Yuuri of course are perfect. A cry from past them and they see Professor Mondo Tatsumi running towards them, Takku still in his arms and Naoto jogging along behind him. To see their errant half-member coming delights the Time Rangers, and Tatsuya calls his name. "Naoto!" Both teams run to meet their fellows. While the team pairs off with their respective counterparts, again Naoto is left with no one except that Tatsuya comes to him, reaching out to slap hands in pleased delight, with then deteriorates into a scuffle and Matoi shoves his way between the two men in some confusion.

The whole of them gather for a picture. Mondo stands in front. Matoi and Tatsuya kneel and mug. Yuuri and Matsuri are together half bent. Behind them are Daimon, Domon, Naoto, Ayase, Nagare, Sion with Takku held high over his head, and Shou.
