Gouki was the companion of the Ginga Gorilla. He rode a horse named Blue Horizon. He was in a way the most emotional of the group. Amongst other things, he was devastated when the Gingaforest sank beneath the lake, seemingly forever lost. He recovered and went along well enough until the day he met Yuuta Aoyama's teacher, Suzuko Mizusawa. It was love at first sight. He spent a great deal of his free time trying to court her, and he was so darned adorable at it, too! I think they probably eventually did come together. There was one occasion when he thought she was getting married to someone. As the warm hearted person he is, when he saw that the man he thought was Suzuko's fiance was in danger of getting killed, Gouki stepped and and took him to safety. It turned out that young Hiroshi was Suzuko's SISTER'S fiance, much to Gouki's relief. He did indeed get a rival for her affections later in the series, a young man named Kishimoto, but the two of them ended up fighting together to stop one of the Balban monsters.

He also loved to cook. I think he was responsible for maintaining the team's health.
